No-Bake Yogurt Fruit Tart

Dessert for breakfast?? Why not! I start almost every morning with yogurt in some form, whether it’s by itself, in a smoothie, or with oatmeal. However, I recently rediscovered my love for cereal (I actually eat it for dessert instead of for breakfast) and thought it would be great to pair with Alove aloe vera yogurt for the perfect breakfast treat or a less guilty dessert.

This fruit tart is extremely easy to make and best of all, doesn’t require any baking! The tarts can be made a day in advance and kept in the refrigerator. For this recipe, I used 4 oz mini tart pans with a removable bottom. However, I would recommend just eating the tart directly out of the pan since the crust can get crumbly. Ingredients (6 mini tarts):

Crust

  • 3 cups cereal (any cereal with corn flakes)

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted

  • 1/8 cup honey

Filling

  • 6 oz Alove blueberry yogurt

  • 2 bananas

  • 1/2 cup blueberries

Topping

  • Berries

  • Sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. Add cereal to a food processor or blender and grind until cereal is fine.

  2. Pour cereal into a mixing bowl and combine with honey and coconut oil until everything is coated.

  3. Spoon crust into mini tart pans and press down with the back of a spoon so the pan is completely covered.

  4. Place crusts in freezer for 20 minutes.

  5. While crusts are freezing, combine Alove yogurt, bananas, and blueberries in a blender. Blend until smooth.

  6. Remove crusts from freezer and spoon yogurt filling into crusts.

  7. Place tarts in freezer for at least 30 minutes. Top with berries and almonds before serving.

  8. Enjoy!
