Frozen Yogurt Breakfast Bars
I truly believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day (or maybe it's just my favorite) but I never skip it. Most mornings, I make a fruit bowl topped with yogurt, granola, seeds, and nuts. I eat this so often but never get sick of it. It's also the last thing I think about at night and the first thing I think about every morning (I kind of wish I was joking but unfortunately I'm not...).
But if you know me, you know I'm always on the go doing something. I don't always have time to make my beloved breakfast so I partnered with Outshine to create an easy grab and go version of my fruit and yogurt bowl that I can take on my way out the door when I don't have time for breakfast. Ingredients:
1 box Outshine Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bars (6 fruit bars per box)
1 cup strawberry yogurt (or flavor of choice)
Toppings of your choosing: I used granola, matcha powder, chopped almonds, shredded coconut, and chia seeds
Other topping suggestions: fresh fruit, other nuts, goji berries, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, hemp seeds, etc.
Directions:
Prepare a small baking sheet lined with parchment paper in freezer.
Place all toppings in separate bowls.
Pour yogurt into a wide-mouthed cup
Remove individual Outshine Strawberry Frozen Fruit Bar from freezer and unwrap.
Coat fruit bar with yogurt as desired and immediately sprinkle with toppings of choice.
Immediately place fruit bar on baking sheet in freezer before starting next bar.
Freeze for at least 2 hours before enjoying.
